This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

Its reference material identifies the Essex County Sheriff, originating courts, New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, and New York State Sex Offender Registry as distinct official custodians. Some pages also connect users with independent search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Using information from this site or a linked tool to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against a person is prohibited and may be a crime. New York law restricts misuse of New York State Sex Offender Registry data. Registry information exists for public safety awareness and never authorizes vigilante acts or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness.
